“Wonderful weekend get away for 5 couples. Everyone loved the space - plenty of room, old home charm and enormous yard. From hanging out at the fire pit, playing corn hole and a dining with seating for 12 for our bbq we couldn’t have been happier with the home.”

“Beautiful old home with so much character! We loved having plenty of space to spread out after long ski days! Beds were comfortable and kitchen was well stocked”

“If you’re into the beauty of an older style inn, this is your place! We absolutely loved our stay here! We were in VT for our son’s college graduation and got lucky enough to have…

  • so many of our family members stay with us. The inn was big enough for all 13 of us! We were able to spend time exploring as well as time together. The inn is right off the highway but still has the most amazing Mountain views. I can only imagine what it must look like in the Fall months. All of the bedrooms and bathrooms were super clean. The kitchen was big enough to cook in without being all over each other. Each room had an abundance of space! Miles and Alex who take care of the inn were there to help and answer any questions we had. Which was awesome! The only negative we had were the ticks and biting flies. It had just rained heavy the night we arrived so I’m sure that had something to do with the bugs. But that’s the woods in VT! Make sure you wear your bug spray before you go outside! Other than that we had a wonderful time. Our son spent 4 years living in VT while in college and we can’t wait to hopefully visit again soon!”

For groups who want space and privacy.

This is a good fit for groups who want to cook, gather, spread out, and enjoy a large historic home without a lot of structure around them. Most guests are families, multi-generational groups, or friends getting together for a few days with no agenda beyond being in the same place.

It's probably not the right fit if you're expecting hotel-style service, daily housekeeping, or a highly polished, resort-style experience. The house is historic, lived-in, and intentionally kept that way.

Nighttime view of a suburban house with a lit front porch and pathway bordered by small outdoor lights, a tree with string lights, and other houses visible in the background.

Room for a full group, without feeling crowded.

The house has multiple bedrooms, large common areas, and enough room for a full group to be together without feeling crowded. There are spaces to cook, eat, sit, and move around, along with outdoor access to the surrounding acreage.

The focus here is on space and flexibility rather than formality. Guests tend to settle in quickly and make the place their own during their stay.
