“Wonderful weekend get away for 5 couples. Everyone loved the space - plenty of room, old home charm and enormous yard. From hanging out at the fire pit, playing corn hole and a dining with seating for 12 for our bbq we couldn’t have been happier with the home.”

"We absolutely loved our stay at the Inn! We were in VT shooting a video for my husbands band and the Inn was so unique they decided to shoot some footage there to include in the video. Such a cool and unique place!! Shawn, the host was stellar and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was great! Highly recommended all around!"

“If you’re into the beauty of an older style inn, this is your place! We absolutely loved our stay here! We were in VT for our son’s college graduation and got lucky enough to have… read more so many of our family members stay with us. The inn was big enough for all 13 of us! We were able to spend time exploring as well as time together. The inn is right off the highway but still has the most amazing Mountain views. I can only imagine what it must look like in the Fall months. All of the bedrooms and bathrooms were super clean. The kitchen was big enough to cook in without being all over each other. Each room had an abundance of space! Miles and Alex who take care of the inn were there to help and answer any questions we had. Which was awesome! The only negative we had were the ticks and biting flies. It had just rained heavy the night we arrived so I’m sure that had something to do with the bugs. But that’s the woods in VT! Make sure you wear your bug spray before you go outside! Other than that we had a wonderful time. Our son spent 4 years living in VT while in college and we can’t wait to hopefully visit again soon!”

"We had a 9 people - plenty of space, 5 bathrooms is a huge plus! Also plenty of parking. House is well stocked with coffee, filtered water, towels, basic pots/pans, plenty of dinnerware. We would go back again!"

"Our group of five had a lovely couple of nights at this unique spread. Each of us had our own beautifully decorated bedroom with comfortable beds and so many bathrooms! Some of the bedrooms pick up quite a bit of road noise at times, just something to be aware of. Well stocked kitchen and fun stuff to get into in the living room. Fun property primed for big events and groups. Seems like the nice family that runs it will keep working on making it better and better. The art throughout the house really pulls the aesthetics together."

“If you are looking for a uniquely Vermont experience this fits the bill. It's a very old large home that needs some TLC but that us part of the experience. Bathrooms are all updated and clean. Beds are comfy. My 8 and 11 year old grand children loved it. Especially when we decided to watch Beetlejuice! Convenient location right off the highway.”

“This large space worked perfectly for our group. Shawn was generously flexible for some of the group’s check-in time, and encouraged everyone to enjoy the property and have a good time. Would highly recommend!”

“Shawn was very responsive and Miles was on-site to help with any issues. The check-in process was super easy. The house had more than enough room for us, 7 adults and one medium sized dog. It was very easy to get to. It was a very hot weekend when we went and Miles really made a valiant attempt to get window units in for us so we could be more comfortable, even though on the Airbnb site it clearly says no A/C. The set up in the kitchen is a little awkward, especially if you have more than one cook in the kitchen, but we made it work. It has a nice refrigerator and a second sink which was convenient. Our dog loved having some room to roam. It has a very nice lawn. We enjoyed playing cornhole out on the lawn. We also enjoyed watching TV as we could stream our Netflix and had plenty of room to leave a puzzle out for the whole weekend so family members could work on it at their leisure. But I'm sorry to say, we were unable to finish it. I guess we need to stay longer next time!”

“Shawn and his team were helpful and responsive when I had questions. Their home was built in the 1800's--wow! Talk about stepping back in time. We had tons of snow while there and I reached out to Shawn ahead of time to make sure the roads could be easily traveled. We brought our 3 year old grandson and it was a perfect place for him to play and explore in the snow that in places came up to his waist! Shawn helped us out with snow shoes and sleds--so we didn't have to carry those in our car. And when we lost our snow brush, Shawn helped us out with that, too. The house has comfortable beds and the place was clean upon arrival. It was minutes away from dear friends of ours so it worked out very well.”

“It far exceeded our expectations as far as the beauty of the property, the thoughtfully appointed bedrooms, and the ease of communication with the host. I had to reschedule our dates a few times and Shawn was super understanding. We loved the property so much we have no doubts we will return. Also, the location is as central as it gets for the Northeast Kingdom, one of the many reasons our family and friends loved it too.”

“We stay in Air BBs across the US and this is by far the best owner / property we’ve been in. The owners were so helpful and helpful standing of our unique situation. The house is amazing and their response time was 2nd to none. I wish we had more work in this area so we could use this property more often. The house is huge and very clean ! Overall just a wonderful property and owner. Thank you Shawn for your hospitality!!”

“It is a huge house with lot of rooms. Quiet and isolated place without any neighboring houses, good to stay for a big group of you love vintage style houses. Some minor things can be improved but overall we like it.”
